Donald F. Norris (a.k.a. Don – definitely not Donald!) is Director of the School of Public Policy and Director of the Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and Research at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His fields of study include: (1) urban affairs broadly but with specific attention to metropolitan governance; and 2) public management where he specializes information technology in governmental organizations, including e-government and cybersecurity. He has published widely in leading journals in urban affairs and public administration. His latest book, Metropolitan Governance in America, was published by Ashgate Publishing in 2015. He received his Ph. D. in political science from University of Virginia.
