As a public historian, my areas of interest mix urban studies, housing, history of medicine, and the use of the arts as interpretive tools. I'm particularly interested in public narratives of vulnerability and how they are presented, negotiated and interpreted. My last project looked at museum interpretation of the Great Depression and the 1930.

I'm also interested in the history of prefab housing and that style of building has, and continues to evolve in interesting and exciting ways.
